Mahmayi Helena 591-1 Low Back Swivel Chair - UK Peat Woven Fabric, Gas Lift Height Adjust

A Considered Addition to Your Home Office The Helena 591-1 by Mahmayi is a low back swivel task chair upholstered in UK Peat woven textile - a deep, earthy burgundy-brown tone that sits comfortably alongside both classic wooden desks and contemporary workspaces. The defined weave texture of the fabric adds visual depth without competing with other furnishings in the room. Proportions and Placement The chair's seat is 51 cm wide and 48 cm deep, making it well-proportioned for a dedicated home study, a spare bedroom desk corner, or a compact office setup. Its overall height adjusts between 96 cm and 110 cm via a smooth pneumatic lever underneath the seat, so it pairs naturally with standard writing desks and home office furniture at a range of heights. Movement Through the Day The five-star black plastic base, fitted with dual-wheel castors on all five arms, allows the chair to travel across hard flooring and low-pile rugs without catching. The 360-degree swivel makes it easy to turn between a monitor, a notepad, or a second screen without shuffling the whole chair. These small conveniences add up over a full working day. Detailing Fixed black plastic loop armrests provide arm support without visual bulk. The backrest rear is finished in moulded black plastic, meaning the chair looks considered from every angle - useful when it is in an open-plan living or dining space doubling as a home office. Care and Upkeep The woven textile upholstery responds well to regular light vacuuming. For isolated marks, a damp cloth applied carefully and then left to air-dry fully is sufficient for routine spot cleaning. Avoid harsh cleaning agents that may discolour the fabric. Warranty This chair is covered by a comprehensive 5-year manufacturer's warranty, giving you lasting reassurance on your purchase.
