Songmics High-Back Mesh Office Chair in Black - Flip-Up Armrests, Padded Headrest & Tilt Lock for Home Office & Study

A well-chosen desk chair makes any home office or study room feel more considered. The Songmics High-Back Mesh Office Chair works in black, which means it pairs quietly with almost any desk finish - light wood, dark veneer, white laminate or glass. In terms of footprint, the base spans 68 cm across, total height ranges from 116 cm to 126 cm, and the seat sits between 45 cm and 55 cm from the floor. Those proportions suit a wide range of desk heights. The 51 cm wide, 50 cm deep seat is padded with high-density foam beneath a mesh surface that allows air to circulate during long working hours. The backrest stands 71 cm tall from the seat and measures 47.5 cm wide at lumbar level. At the very top, a padded headrest is built directly into the structure - there is nothing separate to assemble or align. The backrest tilts up to 30° in each direction, and a lever underneath the seat locks it in your chosen angle. The flip-up armrests are one of the more practical details: fold them up to slide the chair under a narrow desk or to let children sit without obstruction, then fold them down again when needed. No tools, no fuss. Underfoot, five dual-wheel soft rubber castors on a 5-star chromed aluminium base handle both hard flooring (tiles, wood, vinyl) and carpet without marking surfaces. The chair swivels through 360°, making it easy to reach different parts of a workstation. Room care tip: wipe spills immediately with a dry cloth to protect both the mesh and the seat foam. Avoid steam or solvent cleaners. All components, assembly tools, and instructions arrive in the box. Covered by a 3-year warranty.
